Leap of Faith – Here goes nothing.

I’ve always said if Timo made enough money to cover my salary, I’d quit my job and open a travel agency. I love to travel, so what’s better than planning and helping other people travel! I was confiding this dream to a friend over the holiday and she responded so simply, “why not just do it now?” I’m a teacher and a cheer coach in career. I have summers (mostly) off, holidays are free, and weekends are pretty open. Do I have all the time in the world? No, but I’m positive I have enough for a little side hustle. So this weekend, I started a small business.

Maybe I’ll just book travel for my family and friends and that will be enough. Or maybe, just maybe, my little dream will become a much bigger reality and become my main career. Either way, I’m in a moment of excitement. A leap of faith towards something that I can only work at and pray it’s not a waste of our money. I know how to hustle and I know how to provide excellent customer service, so hopefully people still exist who don’t like booking their own travel! I’m one. I’ll confess our last two trips have been booked through a travel agent. Why? Convenience. I used to book all of our vacations myself and I’m pretty savvy finding the best deals, but for the last two, I was tired and she was faster. So someone still needs travel agents! Here goes nothing! Wish me luck!
